The outstanding midfielder was awarded the Golden Ball as Player of the Tournament after her influential role in Spain’s first ever Women’s World Cup victory in 2023. She also received the Ballon d'Or Feminin award in October. She has played more than 50 times for Spain since 2017, including featuring in Spain’s World Cup squad in 2019 as well as 2023. At club level with FC Barcelona Femení, she won the League and Champions League double. She has played over 150 games and scored more than 50 goals since 2016 for the team.
