It was a happy return to Barcelona in 2007 for the Laureus World Sports Awards, with Cuba Gooding Jnr also returning for hosting duties.
Roger Federer picked up another Laureus World Sportsman of the Year trophy and, after their World Cup victory the previous year, Italy's football team was chosen as Team of the Year.
